Coastal Pelagic Species Management Team and Coastal Pelagic Species Advisory Subpanel to Hold Webinars

The Pacific Fishery Management Council (Council) will convene two webinar meetings, of its Coastal Pelagic Species Management Team (CPSMT) and Coastal Pelagic Species Advisory Subpanel (CPSAS). The meetings are open to the public. The primary purpose of the meetings are to discuss agenda items on the November Council meeting and to discuss future meeting plans.

Dates and Times of Webinars

The CPSMT webinar will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The CPSAS webinar will be held Monday, November 2, 2015, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Information on how to participate is below. Public comment may be accommodated if time allows, at the discretion of the CPSMT and CPSAS Chairs.

2015 Pacific Sardine Distribution Workshop Final Report available; Comments due October 16, 2015

The 2015 Pacific Sardine Distribution Workshop Final Report is now available

The report will be considered by the Council at its November 2015 meeting in Garden Grove, California, tentatively scheduled for Sunday, November 15.  Anyone wishing to submit comments on the report should send their comments via email to pfmc.comments@noaa.gov, no later than 11:59 pm, Friday, October 16, 2015, for inclusion in the advance briefing book materials.  Any questions should be directed to Mr. Kerry Griffin at 503-820-2409.
